2-07-2006: Kingdom Release Date!!!
by: Sinewave

March 28th is the U.S. release date for Kingdom Hearts 2! The long wait is nearly over!! Here is the skinny straight from Squeenix!!!

SQUARE ENIX AND DISNEY'S BUENA VISTA GAMES UNVEIL ALL-STAR VOICE CAST FOR KINGDOM HEARTS II

Highly Anticipated Title to Ship on March 28, 2006 in North America

Square Enix, Inc. (Square Enix), the publisher of Square Enix™ interactive entertainment products in North America, and Buena Vista Games, Inc. (BVG), the interactive entertainment arm of The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) announced today the all-star voice cast and North American release date for KINGDOM HEARTS® II, the highly-anticipated action role-playing game (RPG) exclusively for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system. KINGDOM HEARTS II is the sequel to KINGDOM HEARTS, one of the top 10 best-selling PlayStation 2 titles of all time in North America (Source: The NPD Group, Dec. 2005).

The all-star ensemble voice cast is led by Haley Joel Osment ("The Sixth Sense," "A.I. Artificial Intelligence") as the main character Sora and is joined by David Gallagher ("7th Heaven") as Riku, and Hayden Panettiere ("Racing Stripes," "Raising Helen") as Kairi. KINGDOM HEARTS II will also feature the voice talents of Jesse McCartney ("Summerland," Recording artist, "Beautiful Soul" CD) as the mysterious boy Roxas, Brittany Snow ("The Pacifier," "American Dreams") as Namine, Christopher Lee ("Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Lord of the Rings : The Fellowship of the Ring") as DiZ; Steve Burton ("The Last Castle," "Taken") as Cloud, Rachael Leigh Cook ("She's All That," "Josie And The Pussycats") as Tifa and Mena Suvari ("American Beauty," "Rumor Has It") as Aerith, all characters from FINAL FANTASY® VII; and Hedy Buress ("Boston Common," "If These Walls Could Talk"), Tara Strong ("Fairly OddParents : Shadow Showdown," "Teen Titans") , Gwendoline Yeo ("Desperate Housewives," "24") as the popular female-trio Yuna, Rikku, Paine from FINAL FANTASY X-2. In addition, many of the original Disney film star voice actors are reprising their role for this project, including Ming-Na ("ER," "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within") as Mulan, James Woods ("Be Cool"), returning as the villain Hades and Zach Braff ("Scrubs") as Chicken Little.

KINGDOM HEARTS II will ship to North American retailers on March 28, 2006. Since its release in September 2002, the original KINGDOM HEARTS for the PlayStation 2 has shipped more than 2.6 million units in North America. Bridging the gap between the original and the sequel, KINGDOM HEARTS: CHAIN OF MEMORIES® followed in December 2004 for the Nintendo® Game Boy Advance® system. With the release of the Japanese version of KINGDOM HEARTS II in December 2005 (1 million units shipped during only three days after the release date), the series has shipped in excess of 7.5 million units worldwide.

The world of KINGDOM HEARTS joins classic Disney characters and worlds together with a new story filled with new characters and environments created in the renowned Square Enix style. The result was one remarkable, innovative, original property that captured the attention of both gamers and critics alike. In KINGDOM HEARTS II, players will travel through the worlds of Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Mulan, Pirates of the Caribbean, Steamboat Willie and Tron as well as revisit worlds from the original, including Aladdin, Disney Castle, Hercules, The Little Mermaid, Winnie the Pooh and Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. The game features more than 100 Disney characters, and also introduces new, original characters such as Roxas, members of Organization XIII and the Nobodies, all designed by Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura, director and character designer of the KINGDOM HEARTS series. Nomura is best known for his creations in the top selling titles FINAL FANTASY VII, VIII, X and X-2. New Disney additions to the sequel include Chicken Little and Stitch from Disney's Lilo and Stitch as summons as well as one of Disney's favorite villains, Pete.

"We have enjoyed success with the Japanese release of KINGDOM HEARTS II this past December and cannot wait to roll out this title in March in North America - North America is where KINGDOM HEARTS all began," said Tetsuya Nomura. "The entire team has been working day and night to perfect the North American version and we hope the gamers will find it even more exciting than the original."

"KINGDOM HEARTS is the perfect creative example of how BVG is growing and developing the Disney brand and relevance in video games worldwide," said Graham Hopper, senior vice president and general manager, Buena Vista Games. "Our excellent relationship with Square Enix has once again resulted in a game that sets the artistic benchmark in developing video games based on popular entertainment intellectual properties."

"The KINGDOM HEARTS series has given us the opportunity to showcase Square Enix's expertise in game design and development together with Disney's memorable worlds and characters. This collaborative project is a situation most can only dream of and we are fortunate to have had this opportunity," said Shinji Hashimoto, producer, Square Enix. "KINGDOM HEARTS II is packed with even more excitement and amazing adventures and we cannot wait for gamers to experience it for themselves."

KINGDOM HEARTS II follows Sora, Donald, and Goofy on their continuing quest, after the events of KINGDOM HEARTS. Sora is looking for his lost friend Riku, while Donald and Goofy are searching for their missing king. The story begins in Twilight Town, a quiet burg nestled between night and day. Sora and friends are joined by a vibrant new cast of characters, including the king himself. Together, they will encounter countless dangers in worlds both familiar and brand-new.

KINGDOM HEARTS II features a new and improved real-time battle system which provides an increased selection of commands, such as performing special attacks and cooperative attacks with members of your party, adding strategy to the gameplay. Players can also perform the "Drive" to transform main character Sora into his various forms, altering his skills and abilities. Examples include the Brave Form, where Sora absorbs the power of Goofy allowing him to use two Keyblades; the Wisdom Form, where Sora absorbs the power of Donald allowing him to increase his magic power; and the Master Form, where Sora absorbs the power of both Donald and Goofy and increases both his attack and magic powers. These new features bring additional challenges and excitement to the players and further enhance gameplay.

Japanese pop artist Utada Hikaru returns to sing the theme song for KINGDOM HEARTS II. The song titled "Sanctuary," the English version of its original Japanese release "Passion," was written specifically for KINGDOM HEARTS II. More information on the artist can be found at http://www.utada.com.

KINGDOM HEARTS II will be available at North American retailers for a suggested retail price of $49.99 (USD). Additional information can be found at http://www.kingdomhearts.com. The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) has rated the title "E10+" for ages 10 and up. For more information about the ESRB, visit http://www.esrb.org.

1-28-2006: Hot Coffee and Political Ambition. . .
by: Sinewave

This little tidbit can be found on GamePolitics.com. Apparently Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo has announced a lawsuit against Rockstar and Take-Two over the whole Hot-Coffee scandal. He claims that the game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was marketed in a misleading way. Go ahead and visit Game Politics and read the details for yourself (it's a site I visit many times a week).

Then I'll let you in on a not so secret, secret. Our Mr. Delgadillo is currently running for California Attorney General. Suddenly the picture becomes all too clear. This is just another politician hitting the so-called hot button issue of Video Games to bolster his career. I know who I will not be voting for in the June California primaries. With idiots like this in the Democratic party no wonder they can't win elections.

1-28-2006: Of Zombies and Kingdoms. . .
by: Sinewave

Work continues on the forthcoming Zombie Death Stench album. We hope to have all the tracks mixed and finalized by Spring. Incomplete versions have been floating around the Modesto music scene and they've created quite a stir. We're also enjoying radio play and a fan base that is near the size of a shambling horde.

The long wait for the announcement of Kingdom Hearts 2's U.S. release date continues. At least there is a ton of news about Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus to fill the gap.

1-2-2006: New Wallpaper and other news. .
by: Sinewave

We've put up some new Kingdom Hearts 2 wallpapers over on our (big surprise here) wallpaper page. They're the big 1280x1024 ones that are great for making new wallpaper/art with.

I would also like to address the fact that a lot of pretenders to the Sinewavemusic throne have appeared on the Internet over the last year. We want you all to keep in mind that Sinewavemusic.com (note the dot com) is the original and best site with that name!!!?!?!?!?!?

Now I'll remove my tongue from my cheek: Anyway feel free to check these guys out here. I like what they're doing and it vaguely reminds me of some of the more analog style work I've done with Zombie Death Stench.

1-1-2006: Happy New Year!
by: EMS Update

Happy New Year and all that jazz from Sinewavemusic.com. We've been busy this holiday season with meeting old friends and watching Doctor Who Christmas specials. Also work is now in progress on getting the Zombie Death Stench album finished by early spring. ZDS will also be enjoying Internet radio airplay on several stations in the coming months.

Enjoy the return of the Christmas layout to Sinewavemusic.com!

11-27-2005: Hellsing OVA Delayed
by: Sinewave

The first Hellsing OVA has been delayed until late January. The good news in all of this is the episodes running time has been extended from 35 minutes to 50!

11-27-2005: Kingdom Hearts 2 U.S. Site!
by: Sinewave

At last Square-Enix has opened it's official site for the long awaited Kingdom Hearts 2. It's bare bones compaired to the Japanese site but it does boast the annoucement "Coming in Spring 2006". You can find it here.

11-26-2005: Naruto Anime News. . .
by: Sinewave

Unless you've been living under a rock somewhere, you know that the Naruto Anime has been licensed by Viz. It just began airing on Cartoon Network during their Saturday Toonami block.

So in March of next year Viz will begin releasing Naruto on DVD once every other month as a part of their new Shonen Jump Home Video line.

The bad news in all of this is those of us who want unedited and un dubbed versions of the DVD's will have to wait until July. When Viz begins releasing the Uncut version in 13 Episode box sets. I for one am very thankful that VIZ has decided to go this route. I know these box sets will end up on my shelf right next to Genesis Climber Mospeada!

11-19-2005: Vivi in Kingdom Hearts 2!!!
by: Sinewave

My inner geek has burst out with giddy excitement after seeing this picture on Kingdom Hearts Ultimania!

11-14-2005: Matt this link is for you!

Mr. S, go ahead and check out this link.

11-10-2005: No Beer and No Tv make Sinewavemusic.com something, something. . .
by: Sinewave

Another Halloween has come and gone and we've managed to exorcise the Halloween Daemons from our servers. The only problem is we've fallen into a state of limbo from which Sinewavemusic might not escape in the near future.

The Halloween project was a success once again this year despite a few problems. We kept having people show up all night who thought we were a haunted house. It turns out that one of the major Internet sites we are listed on has us as a Halloween Display but omitted that detail on our contact page. The unfortunate fact is that the first page you find when you Google the words Escalon and Halloween is that contact page. So we're currently trying to get that information updated.

Also in response to this small fiasco we will add a new Intro page to the Halloween Project that states "explicitly" what we are and what we do.

10-19-2005: Jack Thompson is an idiot. . .
by: Sinewave

The anti video game bigot can’t seem to figure out when he’s lost. First the National Institute on the Media and Family distance themselves from him and then Penny Arcade show him up by making good on his $10,000 promise. Now the assbag is making even more idle threats. It is perhaps time that people like Jack Thompson wake up and realize that video game players are not going to take this censorship crap lying down. Oh yeah and just a note to Arnold Schwarzenegger: Perhaps you should take a long look at the plethora of violent movies that helped get you your job as “Governor”. Now that your in office I don’t hear you mewling for better governmental controls for the MPAA. Leland Yee, if you don't want your kids (if you don't have any let's make 'em hypothetical) playing these games then do your job as a parent and don't buy them.

10-18-2005: Final Fantasy VII:Advent Children delay. . .
by: Sinewave

Although this is not exactly "new" news I have decided to weigh in on it:

The idiots over at Sony pictures have (as you all probably know) delayed the U.S. release of the film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. So in the last few weeks several high quality fan subbed versions have appeared on the Internet. So I suggest you go download the film. Watch it and be amazed. Wait several months for Sony to get their heads out of their asses. Then buy the U.S. release of this awesome film (with what is sure to be a typically shitty English dub).

10-6-2005: Halloween Daemons have returned again. . .
by: Sinewave

It seems like every year around the beginning of October those pesky Halloween Daemons manage to infest our servers. We of course immediately called our local Internet clergyman but like always he's booked up solid until early November. We figure this is the price we pay for giving a home to those miscreant Rotten Brains over at the Halloween Project.

8-29-2005: New PVA Track and 2005 EHP theme song. . .
by: Sinewave

Although it has been up for a while on MySpace we thought we'd inform everyone that Pleasant Valley Aerospace has a new track called "Transit". You can check it out here. The song you hear playing is the 2005 Escalon Halloween Project theme. If you suffer from the curse of dial-up give it a while to load. Also, Jamie is responsible for the creation of the Family Guy Evil Monkey animated GIF. It will probably generate as much traffic as the Kakashi one has.

8-24-2005: Antiseptic and Needle update
by: EMS Update

Once again Sinewavemusic.com has adopted the "antiseptic" white look. We also have a new song loop playing from our "gearing up for Halloween" collection. It's the Queens of the Graveyard playing the Escalon Halloween Project 2004 theme. Also major revisions have been finished on the Halloween Project pages so give them a whirl.

8-8-2005: Halloween Project Update!
by: Sinewave

Check out the Halloween project pages because we've slapped a new coat of paint on 'em. We also have tried to give the site a more unified look.

8-8-2005: Halloween Donations
by: Sinewave

As the days slowly get shorter time edges nearer to the greatest of all holidays. Halloween is less than 83 days away. So that means we are getting ready to make our yearly request for Halloween Project funds. We are only asking for a $25 donation to get your name on this years Producers list. Plans are also being made for having this years Rotten Brains pictures taken on or around the weekend of August 27th.

8-5-2005: Zombie Death Stench. . .
by: Phantom

The virus that we have unleashed upon the Internet that we call Zombie Death Stench has continued to spread unabated. We soon shall infect everyone and everything. You have but two choices in the coming conflagration. Join us or be ground to dust under our heels! Visit zombiedeathstench.com while you still have a choice!

7-10-2005: MySpace Madness. . .
by: Sinewave

In a stunning show of just how far behind the times Sinewavemusic can be, we have finally done something with this new fangled MySpace thingy. You can check out profiles and streaming music from Pleasant Valley Aerospace and Zombie Death Stench. Now we’re also aware that this is the second update in twenty four hours so that means the site will probably lay dormant for another six months! We also are getting the Zombie Death Stench pages up and running so give ‘em a visit.

7-10-2005: More Halloween!!!

It is a miracle but we have updated the site again in less than a weeks time! The Halloween Project 2004 pages now have small Flash players that allow you to the sound effects we made last year. Click here to visit the site.

6-27-2005: Doctor Who is back!!!
by: Sinewave

In a torrent of geek fueled downloading I managed to get all 13 of the new Doctor Who episodes that aired recently on the BBC. All I can say is: It's about goddamn time! I've been waiting for this to happen since 1989 and it feels like I got an early Christmas present. After the monumental let down I received at the hands of Stephen King last year I have viewed a lot of this years upcoming releases (Star Wars, Land of the Dead, Batman Begins, Harry Potter 6, and Doctor Who) with a feeling of slight dread and great trepidation. Luckily the powers that be at the BBC have pulled their heads out of their asses (it only took the wankers 16 years) and have delivered a great series. This new Doctor Who feels both fresh and just like it used too. I also have to chime in that I got to see 'Land of the Dead' this weekend and George Romero has managed to bring something new and awesome to the series. I seriously recommend you get out there and see it.

4-25-2005: Pleasant Valley Aerospace Show
by: Sinewave

As some of our friends know we have been trying to figure out if PVA will be playing the Central Valley Indie Festival. Well, we have just learned that PVA is scheduled to play a free show at the Mustang (413 7th St. Modesto CA 95350) on Friday April 13th. This is still a tentative date (because honestly our manager has had zero luck in getting a hold of anyone putting on the CVIF) that we hope to officially confirm here soon.

4-10-2005: STAR WARS EPISODE III
by: EMS Update

Our collective brains have begun to melt in anticipation of Episode III. We have added a special countdown at the top of the page to count away every excruciating minute we have to wait.

2-20-2005: Alien Spectrum Recording
by: EMS Update

After several false starts (including two different names) we are proud to announce the arrival of Alien Spectrum Recordings. In the next month or so we will be converting the Alien Spectrum site into the new home for our portable recording studio.

Also in the next month or so we will roll out a new section of the site devoted to the Death Metal band "Zombie Death Stench".

2-20-2005: Queens of the Stone Age cancel European tour!
Sinewave
by: Sinewave

“Queens Of The Stone Age were forced to halt their mini-tour on Tuesday, February 22nd after singer Josh Homme began coughing up blood in his Paris hotel room. What doctors in Amsterdam initially diagnosed as the flu was found to be a serious lung infection. This resulted in his immediate return to the United States.”

So let's all hope Josh gets better soon and that we'll still get to see them on tour in the U.S. in the next couple of months.

2-20-2005: Queens of the Stone Age: Lullabies to Paralyze
Sinewave
by: Sinewave

The greatest living rock band QOTSA will be releasing their fourth album "Lullabies to Paralyze" on March 22nd. They are also doing a short tour to support the release but don't bother trying to get tickets if you haven't already ('cause they are sold out). So do yourself a favor and go out and buy the only album (thus far) worth buying this year.

2-20-2005: Goodbye Hunter S. Thompson
Sinewave
by: Sinewave

After a long dormancy Sinewavemusic.com has been shocked back into existence by the death of Hunter S. Thompson. All I can say is that I am shocked and saddened by the news that he took his own life. My heart goes out to Juan and Anita, and to the literary world which will miss his acerbic wit and style. Although many claimed his writing might have lost some of its edge, recent salvos in Rolling Stone had shown he still knew what was what. Goodbye to a master Journalist and Writer who knew that sometimes a lie was the only way to tell the truth.

10-23-2004: Kingdom Hearts: COM News
Sinewave
by: Sinewave

The hype machine around Square-Enix's forthcoming Kingdom Hearts sequel is finally getting underway in the USA. GameSpot has posted up a bunch of new pictures and a hands-on preview of the English language version (props must go to Kingdom Hearts Ulitimania for breaking this news a week ago). Anyway the part of all this you should be excited about is that GameSpot claimed an early December release is expected (once again KH:U had them beat to the punch but this comes from people who have dealt with Squeenix's promotions).

10-19-2004: More News Madness
Sinewave
by: Sinewave

Well as October hurries along we have more news about all sorts of things. First off, Square-Enix has announced plans to finally remake (and release in the U.S.) my favorite Pre FFVII game, Final Fantasy III (not to be confused with the incorrectly numbered SNES game). Only problem is that it's slated for release on the new Nintendo DS Handheld. If this was any game but my beloved FFIII I'd say screw off but it looks like I'll be spending a lot of money on a handheld for just one game.

Our second tidbit of news also comes from the Squeenix universe. Apparently the hammer has dropped on Kingdom Hearts Ultimania and they've had to remove the leaked KH:COM video and pictures. Now if you were dead for a few days and missed it don't worry too much. You can find the video on just about and decent P2P network with just a little effort. There is still no word on when the U.S. or European release date but we all have our fingers crossed that it'll be in December.

The third and final slice of the information pie is about the studio. We've got nearly all the equipment (except for a seriously screwed up order from Musicians Friend) and will be ready to start doing Professional Level Recordings by Mid-November. If you live in the California Central Valley and want someone who can come to your practice space and record you, contact us via e-mail.

10-17-2004: Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories News
by: EMS Update

Well Kingdom Hearts Ultimania (KH2.co.uk) has been so far out on the cutting edge of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories news (KH:COM) that they've received a cease and desist order from Square-Enix. It seems that KH2.co.uk has found a leak from within the English language development that has passed along "sensitive" information. I suggest you get over to the Ultimania site and check out the images and video (if you are spoiler inclined) as soon as possible. We wish the site's webmaster Pete the best of luck in hopefully not getting taken to court.

10-16-2004: All kinds of News
by: EMS Update

Well the flow of information around here has significantly slowed down in the last few weeks. The main reason is that Jamie and Jason have been getting ready to open a recording studio in Escalon California. Along with that the rest of their free time has been spent getting the 2004 Halloween Project up and running. This site will soon host a new page that will advertise the services, that this as of yet unnamed studio, will offer.

Also on the Square-Enix front, you can check out pictures and videos of the new Kingdom Hearts game Chain of Memories here. It looks like the game has already been translated into English which bodes well for the rumored December release date.

Our last bit of news concerns the continuing saga of the eternally forthcoming album from Autolux "Future Perfect". It appears that it will finally make it's way to your local record stores shelf on October 26th.

10-01-2004: October has arrived

Soak in the spooky ambiance!!!

9-30-04: Metamorphosis Tomorrow. . .

Soon will October arrive with a sighing deep autumn chill
The leaves will turn brown fall and the nights grow long
While the sway of darkness becomes steadily strong
And like a lonely old house perched up high on a hill
Feel the coming winter and harvest, bones gone all still
For here among the headstones is where I belong

9-29-2004: Official Autolux Mailing list News
Sinewave
by: Sinewave

"Autolux's record, Future Perfect, will be in stores on October 26th. The record was supposed to be released on September 21, but the manufacturer made a mistake in the packaging. Autolux was not okay with that and the company had to remake the cd packaging from scratch. The record was then pushed back. Autolux was very upset about this but could not accept the packaging the way that it was. Future Perfect will also be available on vinyl."

9-27-2004: Fantastic Four Cast Picture

9-27-2004: Kingdom Hearts 2 Tokyo Game Show 2004 Trailer!

9-25-2004: Square-Enix Tokyo Game Show news

Square-Enix held their own press conference during the Tokyo Game Show much like they did last year. You can find out all about it here and here.

9-23-2004: Autolux album delay explained

According to members of the band the reason for the delay of "Future Perfect" was because of incorrectly made packaging. Some copies of the "Imperfect" album managed to slip out onto major retailers shelves. The new release date is October 26th and let's hope they get out some sort of music video/advertising before then.

9-22-2004: Fantastic Four Movie News

The comic book characters The Fantastic Four and their constant nemesis Doctor Doom has always been near and dear to our hearts. So we have decided to report on news about the celluloid version of these characters that will make their way to the silver screen next year. You can find pictures of the heroes (Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, Johnny Storm, and Reed Richards) here. Although we have a strong feeling that this movie is going to suck eggs we will give it our support. As for the controversy that surrounds the film (that has made us rabid Doom fan especially angry) you can read about it here and here. Also we recommend you head out this weekend and see "Shaun of the Dead"!

9-21-2004: The Dark Tower VII Released

The final book in Stephen King's Dark Tower series The Dark Tower book VII: The Dark Tower has been released today. So you Towerheads should get your asses out there and buy it.

9-20-2004: Wallpapers page updated

The wallpapers page has been updated so go on and check it out here!

9-19-2004: New song loop!

There is a new song loop on the page as part of our countdown to October. It's the "2004 Halloween Project Theme Song" as performed by our joke band "Queens of the Grave Yard". For those of you with the curse of dial-up (like us) this one will take a little longer to load so give it time. Hope you enjoy! For more information about the Escalon Halloween Project go here.

9-18-2004: The Tokyo Game Show causes Square-Enix madness!!

While we are all stinging from the hundredth delay of the release of Autolux's "Future Perfect" we are at least consoled by the promise of upcoming Square-Enix news from the TGS. Already news is slowly trickling out. For one there has been another Final Fantasy VII spin off announced called "Dirge of Cerberus" which will feature Vincent Valentine as the main character. Also Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories will be released in Japan on November 11th and possibly will see the light of day in America in December or early 2005. Also there is the remote possibility that "Future Perfect" may be released on October 26th but I wouldn't hold my breath just yet.

9-13-2004: Autolux "Future Perfect" DELAYED AGAIN! What the F*CK?!?!?!

Once again Sony/Columbia/DMZ/Red Ink or whatever company is responsible for Autolux's forthcoming release has pushed it back again. The new release date is now November 2. Our first two postings turned into rants so we'll just keep this one all news and business like. Needless to say, we are all very angry about this.

9-09-2004: New Failure album and Autolux news! The return of music loops!

After nearly seven years of silence Ken Andrews and Greg Edwards of Failure have gotten together to release a CD/DVD set called "Failure - Golden Unreleased Sounds and Images". This is an independent release and it can be purchased at CDBaby. Autolux is still on course for the September 21st release of their album "Future Perfect" which can be pre-ordered at Amazon and Tower Records. The first of our countdown to October and Halloween loops have arrived! This track is called "Sleeper (Vampire)".

8-27-2004: Autolux Future Perfect

The release date has been pushed back again (hopefully for the last time) and it is September 21st. Here is the cover artwork (this is just a black and white sample provided by Amazon.com).

Autolux Future Perfect

8-14-2004: Autolux, Year of the Rabbit, The Joy Circuit, Ken Andrews and PVA news

Autolux will be releasing their first major label album "Future Perfect" on September 7th. They will be playing a string of shows in the UK and then they will return to the U.S. to support Clinic on a short west coast stint.

Year of the Rabbit have announced that they will be releasing another EP sometime in October. Early rumors are saying that the material is even better than what was on their self titled album released last year. The band will not be playing any live shows for a while which leads me to the next topic.

The Joy Circuit is the YOTR side project featuring Jeff Garber, Tim Dow, and Solomon Snyder. While YOTR is on "show playing" hiatus The Joy Circuit will be playing around LA and they will release an EP in October also. Their site can be found here.

Ken Andrews is promising some surprises in the coming months also.

Pleasant Valley Aerospace will be releasing their "Pleasant Nights EP" in mid-September and it will be available on this site.

And we have implemented a "Retro-Style" to the website.

7-12-2004: Pleasant Valley Aerospace EP news

Pleasant Valley Aerospace will be releasing the "Pleasant Nights EP" in the next month or so. This EP will probably have about 12 tracks (a couple of which will be different versions of the same song) and will sell for about $10. More music will be up soon and the track "Willing" is going to be on the EP.

6-7-2004: Sinewavemusic.com Puts Up The Music!

There are now two new MP3's up from Pleasant Valley Aerospace and Alien Spectrum that you can download. The first track is from PVA called "Willing" it can be downloaded here or on the PVA pages. The second track is the morose electronic piece from Alien Spectrum entitled "Nea Lo Mons Chand" which can be downloaded here or on the Alien Spectrum pages.

These are the first tracks is a series of web exclusive downloadable songs from SINEWAVEMUSIC.COM

6-6-2004: PVA and Autolux news!

Pleasant Valley Aerospace have a new web exclusive song up for download over on their sounds page. Also Autolux will be releasing their album "Future Perfect" on August 3 2004!

4-23-2004:Autolux Update

Well we have some news in the ongoing saga that is the forthcoming release of Autolux's album "Future Perfect". Apparently the label has delayed the album until at least July. In that time the label publicist will get the album out and create some buzz. We are really excited about this release especially after making the trip down to Los Angeles to see them play at the Getty museum on April 16th.

Anime manga watch. . .

We've been watching (and enjoying) the first few episodes of Gonzo's new series Bakuretsu Tenshi. Also for those of you who have been asleep for nearly the last six months check out GunGrave. It's just about wrapped up its run. The American version of Shonen Jump will also be running a preview of Bleach in the May 4th issue.

3-18-2004: Autolux Album News

In what has been a flurry of new and updates here at Sinewavemusic we have discovered that Autolux has revealed the title for their forthcoming album. It is "Future Perfect" and it looks to be released either in late March or early April. When we know more we'll pass the information along to you.

Update: We also just added some of the older original GunGrave wallpapers.

3-02-2004: GunGrave O.D.

For those of us who are big fans of the original GunGrave game this is great news. Sega and Red Entertainment will be releasing GunGrave OD the sequel to the shoot 'em up extravaganza on March 4th in Japan. We are planning on importing it and we'll post our impressions and review sometime in the future. You can see the game in action here.

2-26-2004: Death Note Manga And Stuff. . .

Keep your eyes peeled for a new manga running in the Japanese weekly Shonen Jump called "Death Note". It's a new manga from Obata Takeshi the artist of the wildly popular "Hikaru No Go". This morally ambiguous story of a boy, a Shinigami, and a notebook that can kill looks to be very interesting. Check it out at Orange Tangerine.

I also highly recommend that you run out and pick up a copy of Kubo Taito's manga "Bleach" when it get published by VIZ in May or June.

2-19-2004: Autolux playing in San Francisco!

Autolux will be opening for Blonde Redhead on March 23 at Bimbo's 365 Club in San Francisco! It's a chance for us Northern California fans of Autolux to catch them in concert without having to make a long drive! Get tickets for the show here.

2-13-2004: GunGrave! ガングレイヴ!

Check out the new Anime based on Red Entertainment and Yasuhiro Nightow's (内藤泰弘) game GunGrave (ガングレイヴ). All of us here are big fans of the game and Nightow's excellent manga Trigun. Geneon Entertainment (formerly Pioneer) has the domestic license and more than likely will release it by the end of this year. We think this Anime will go over big with fans of Hellsing (who I know end up visiting this site). Also for those unenlightened few who haven't heard of it: check out Naruto (ナルト)! In the coming months we intend to create a new site dedicated to manga and Anime.

2-8-2004: Good-bye Remy. . .

Well we lost a good friend and companion this morning. It was our little adventure dog Remy. I was the one who found the little guy and brought him home. I remember I was driving home one night and I caught a glimpse of two shining bright eyes in the road. At first I thought it was an opossum who had ambled out into the country road. As I slowed my truck down as I got closer I realized that it was a little dog. So I pulled up next the little creature and I rolled down my window. To my surprise he jumped up and down and barked as if he wanted in. So I opened the door and he jumped in as if he'd known me for years and it was the most natural thing in the world. I brought the little guy home and he instantly became a part of the family. When we brought him to the vet a few days later we discovered that he had a tracking chip. He apparently had once been in a dog pound all the way out in Redwood City nearly a hundred miles away. Whatever adventures Remy had before he arrived, I'm glad that this is where he ended up. He enriched all of our lives in the few years he spent with us. (Note: I ended up editing this on the main page a few weeks later. This was because in my state of grief I had made many errors.)

Remy busy digging for gorphers.

2-7-2004: Autolux News! Anime News!

It looks like the long awaited Autolux album will be heading for stores in late March! Now all we can do is cross our fingers and hope for a tour to be announced real soon! Also for those of you who visit this site because of our manga and Anime stuff we have a recommendation for you. Check out the new Anime based on Red Entertainment and Yasuhiro Nightow's game GunGrave. All of us here are big fans of the game and Nightow's excellent manga Trigun. Geneon Entertainment (formerly Pioneer) has the domestic license and more than likely will release it by the end of this year. 1-19-2004: Minor Updates Hellsing on hold

Due to family problems I've had to stop hosting Hellsing for the time being. I know we promised to finish volume 2 but it's just not possible right now. If you would like to find out how to get the scanlations from other places feel free to e-mail us. We'll respond as soon as we get a chance.

12-28-2003: Hellsing continues!

You can now get your taste of Hellsing Volume 2 Chapter 2 Here! We'll be hosting it until around January 4th or 5th.

12-27-2003: Hellsing continues!

Hellsing Volume 2 Chapter 2 will be up later tonight/tomorrow morning! If you haven't downloaded Chapter 1 yet you better hurry up and do it! Also thanks to all of you who e-mailed we're glad to know it's appreciated!

12-23-2003: Hellsing in danger of being pulled!

Well, we know people have been leeching but no one has been e-mailing. So if you're not willing to drop us a line then we're probably going to pull the Manga. We can certainly use the server space for other things! So if you want to see this service continue just e-mail us.

12-18-2003: Merry Fricking Hellsing Christmas!

All right! Enough with the bitching! As a gift to all you Hellsing obsessed visitors during Christmas we will be rehosting Hellsing Volume 2. The first chapter will be up for the next week (18th-25th) followed by the next chapter the week after that and so on. Now if you actually appreciate this do these two things: Buy Hellsing Volume 1 from Dark Horse and e-mail us to let us know it's still worth wasting space for this on our server. You can get Volume 2 Chapter 1 here.

12-17-2003: We have pictures of Hellsing Volume 6!

Well I finally managed to get a copy of Hellsing Volume 6 from Kinokuniya on Monday. Last time I had a friend ship Volume 5 straight from Japan the day it was released so I had no idea how long it would take to get 6. It literally took Kinokuniya a month from the release date to get it in. Well anyway if you want to see pictures of Volume 6 go here. Also get off your lazy ass and buy Hellsing Volume 1 from Dark Horse!

11-15-2003: Hellsing Volume 6

We know that this site still gets a lot of traffic because we used to host the Hellsing manga translations. So I thought we'd inform fans that Volume 6 should be out for sale now in Japan. For those of us in the states that means retailers like Kinokuniya will probably have it in stock no later than November 24th! Also all of you Hellsing fans should go out and pick up the official English translation of Hellsing volume 1 from Dark Horse comics when it's released in December!

11-04-2003: Back to Normal. . .
The website has returned to it's normal black and blue. . .
10-31-2003: HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
10-29-2003: Year of the Rabbit on tour with A Perfect Circle!
Year of the Rabbit will be opening for A Perfect Circle on their tour in Mid-November (17th-30th). It looks like the shows will also coincide with the release of YOTR's second single and video for the track "Last Defense". These shows with APC will hopefully give the boys even wider exposure!
10-23-2003: Halloween Project Pages Updated Today!
10-14-2003: Autolux album news and they're opening for The White Stripes in New York!
Autolux has announced that their forthcoming album will be released sometime in March of 2004! Also they will be opening for the White Stripes in New York at the Roseland Ballroom on November 18, 19, and 20th. Unfortunately tickets for those shows were already sold out before Autolux committed to play the dates. This still will be a great chance for the band to get exposure! The Autolux Empire is coming!

10-12-2003: Queens of the Stone Age

Oh yeah, my inner geek has been unleashed by the announcements Square Enix made at the Tokyo Game Show! The long awaited sequel to Kingdom Hearts has finally been officially announced. Also a new Game Boy Advanced game called Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories is to be shown off. Last but not least the biggest surprise that Square Enix unveiled is a move called Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. In it we will find out what happened to Cloud and friends after the end of Final Fantasy VII! Some KH2 artwork is further down on this page. Update 10-01-2003: You can visit the new Disney.co.jp site for Kingdom Hearts 2 here and Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories here.

7-18-2003: Year of the Rabbit Live

I accidentally forgot to put up the link to the 7-16-2003 Pictures of Year of the Rabbit at the Troubadour. They are now here!

We have pictures that were taken at the kick ass show Year of the Rabbit played at the Troubadour on July 16th here. Once again the guys put on a great show and it was well worth the hearing damage incurred! If you haven't heard them yet head on over to www.yearoftherabbit.net and check them out. Better yet just go out and pick up a copy of their new CD that's in stores now. We hope to see our California friends at the YOTR show at the Pound in San Francisco on July 21st! Also we are working on making wallpaper out of some of the images e-mail us if you're interested.

6-21-2003: Look below the News for Tour dates!

6-20-2003: SINEWAVE'S SIGN POST

Well it seems that the Sinewave track 'Rain' absolutely refuses to die over on Garageband.com. After what was apparently a premature pronunciation of death it has returned. What's even funnier is that not only was the track resurrected but it managed to make it into round two of the song competition. We find this funny considering that the track was submitted almost 3 years ago and that the band disbanded in late 2001.

Perhaps the continued success of this song will shine some light on the new work of Sinewave's core song writers Chris Amato and Jamie Jenness. If you want to hear some samples of what they're up to now click the Pleasant Valley Aerospace link at the top of this page. Or if you'd like to listen to the track that won't die click the link below.

6-14-2003: YEAR OF THE RABBIT

Anyway as you may know we've been pimping the hell out of Ken Andrew's new band Year of the Rabbit (or YOTR for short). Now that the release date of YOTR self titled debut moves ever closer (July 15th) we have the pleasure of letting you all get a taste of the first single.

5-08-2003: Music Information

Year of the Rabbit: Year of the Rabbit - July 15th
Pleasant Valley Aerospace: Missing Persons - No date yet
QOTSA: DVD Live at the Troubadour - July 21st
Desert Sessions: 9 & 10 - August 12 th
Autolux: No title yet - Still being mixed

4-16-2003: News about the CD. . .

Pleasant Valley Aerospace's CD is once again on short term hold. It's because the boys are finishing a couple of new songs that will be included on the CD. One is called "Hyperaesthesia" and the other doesn't have a name yet. Also due to the "underwhelming" response to hosting the Translated Hellsing Manga we have decided to pull it. If you would like to see this reinstated you MUST E-MAIL us!

3-25-2003: And Good Music shall fall from the sky like manna from heaven. . .

Yes in the coming months we will see album releases from Radiohead, Year of the Rabbit, and Autolux. There is also of course PVA's forthcoming album (here I am madly tooting my own horn). There will surely be tours from all, and don't call me Shirley.

Anyway for the Year of the Rabbit tour dates go to www.yearoftherabbit.net

3-10-2003: Updates. . .

Check out Pleasant Valley Aerospace's site for more album info. We also have pictures of the fifth Hellsing Manga Volume further down on this page.

2-27-2003: News again. . .

Pleasant Valley Aerospace's album will be finished on March 3rd and will be ready for purchase late that month. The band will be putting up new song samples in the next few weeks to give everyone a taste of the CD.

2-18-2003: News and Updates. . .

Year of the Rabbit news:

2.18.03

It's official. Year of the Rabbit has signed with Elektra Records. The deal was sealed just before Christmas last year. Elektra has signed what amounts to a finished album, which the band has been working on over the last nine months.

The scheduled release date for the full length LP is June 24th, with touring to begin around or before that date. There is discussion of Elektra releasing another EP in advance of the LP although this is not for sure.

Meanwhile, the band is in the studio finishing a new song for the album called "Strange Eyes" and working on the album packaging.

The band is excited to get out on the road and bring the new sound to your hometown.

1-03-2003: Updates. . . We've turned blue

Once again we'd like to remind everyone to head on over to The Unknown Project's web site and give them a listen. We know you'll like what you hear so why not pick up their CD too while your at it. Then if you happen to live in LA (or if your visiting) check out their show at the Troubadour on January 9th. Updates are being performed on the Pleasant Valley Aerospace pages but it's nothing to drastic just yet. Most of the major changes will arrive after www.pleasantvalleyaersopace.com is up and running. As we said before the CD is nearing completion so continue holding your breath. I for one am relieved that we removed that damn Bunny song. . .

1-01-2003: Happy New Year!

We'd just like to say farewell to late night radio talk show host Art Bell who just finished his fifteen year run on Coast to Coast AM. It was great listening to him on many of our long commutes and when recording and mixing got too overwhelming at night. Tuning into the show was like having a little window into the twilight zone and it helped us remember that we're not quite that crazy. .

12-30-2002: The CD is almost conceived. . .

Work is continuing, and yes the album is still on schedule. We still plan to have it ready for manufacturing around mid January. After that we will know more about when the CD's will be finished and have an on sale date estimate.

12-25-2002: Merry Christmas!
12-17-2002: Well, as you know we are always trying to point people toward good music. In keeping with that we have a new band that we think you will all like. They are the L.A. based band The Unknown Project. You can check out samples of their EP on their site or buy it at CD Baby. Also they will be playing a special show at the Troubadour in Hollywood on January 9 th 2003. Minor updates have been made to the Sinewave pages (if anyone cares) on 12-20-2002.
12-10-2002: The "Bunnies in Boxes EP" has been put on indefinite hold until after the release of Pleasant Valley Aerospace's album in January. PVA will be gearing up for their album release during late December through Mid-January.
12-07-2002: Well we just got the good news that Ken Andrews has released another ON album. Ken Andrews was one of the visionaries behind Failure and is in the new band Year of the Rabbit. This is his second solo release under the moniker ON. We definitely recommend you order it today. You can purchase it on-line at CD Baby http://www.cdbaby.com/on . Also in keeping with the theme go over and check out what the other brain from Failure Greg Edwards is creating. His band Autolux has recently been signed so you should purchase their Five Song Demostration CD from their site while you still can.
12-04-2002: News from old PVA site

The CD creation process continues at a glacial pace but just to let you know it should be done by mid to late January.

11-26-2002: Square and Enix to merge!

On April 1st 2003 Square and Enix (Japan's biggest and most powerful RPG game developers) will merge into one company.

11-15-2002: Pictures from the Year of the Rabbit show on 11-13-2002 at the Troubadour can be found here.
12-04-2002: The fate of the Bunnies in Boxes EP lies in the balance. Its fate will be decided on Monday December 9th so check back for details. We'd also like to thank those of you who put in the last minute rally to try and get this thing to happen. The guys who originally were supposed to drum up the e-mails didn't do squat.
11-28-2002: Happy Thanksgiving!
11-18-2002: Real Audio Samples of Pleasant Valley Aerospace tracks are up over on their site. Head on over and give them a listen!
11-12-2002: For information on how to make the "Bunnies in Boxes" EP a reality click the link below.
11-05-2002: Well apparently Sinewave's page at Garageband.com has opened back up again. We've decided to link to it so you can listen to the tracks "Rain" and "They're Buying" (recorded in '99) from the long promised final Sinewave CD "Coffin Nail".
11-03-2002: The new loop playing on this page is from the second demo of the now "infamous" Bunny song. If you would like to hear a completed version of the song (you all know who you are) get everyone you know to visit the page and e-mail us (at sinewavemusic@hotmail.com ). If we get enough hits and e-mail we will finish it and finally release it as a Christmas gift EP. Remember it's all up to you guys! If our friends truly want this they can work for it! P.S. 11-05-2002: We'd like to apologize to everyone who tried to e-mail but had to contend with broken links. Apparently the pages became misformatted during our URL problem last week.
11-02-2002: The page returns to a semblance of normalcy. Also things are looking a little green!
10-31-2002: Happy Halloween! Soak in the Spooky Ambiance
10-26-2002: Go check out the Alien Spectrum page for special downloads and information about current projects. Also stop by the Pleasant Valley Aerospace page to get the latest news about their forthcoming release. Halloween is fast approaching, only five more days! Check back here sometime after November 1st for pictures and information about the Halloween project.

10-25-2002: UPDATE: We have the site back up as far as we can tell. If you find any dead links e-mail us at sinewavemusic@hotmail.com

Just to let everyone know our Web Server has been changing things on us. Our actual URL has changed three times in the last week. I'm trying as hard as I can to get everything up and running correctly again.

10-20-2002: Eleven days to Halloween!!!
10-14-2002: The Alien Spectrum page is up and running (with an MP3 to download) and new information is available on the Pleasant Valley Aerospace page. The news archive page is also back up and running. Enjoy the Spooky ambiance of the page in celebration of Halloween
9-28-2002: Well this is a little update to let everyone know what is going on, because we've gotten quite a few complaints about it. Anyway due to a failed hard drive Pleasant Valley Aerospace's CD is on hold for the moment. Chris and Jamie are in the mean time working on an EP/Sampler that they hope will be out early next year (unless the Hard Drive problem is remedied before that). Also Jamie's Halloween projects and the recording/producing of other artists have been taking up a lot of his time. On another note for those of you who have sent e-mail and or bugged us about the song loop that was up on the main site it is "NOT" a complete song. At this time Jamie has no plans of actually finishing it. If interest continues (I.E. keep e-mailing us) he may think about releasing it later under the Alien Spectrum imprint for free downloading. That song sample can now be heard on the Pleasant Valley Aerospace page. Also the main page will begin to look and sound "spooky" for Halloween!

9-14-2002: A message from Jamie:

Chris and I went to see the band "Year of the Rabbit" play at the Troubadour in Hollywood last night. All I can say is that had to been one of the best shows I have ever seen. It ranks up there with seeing Radiohead at the Filmore in San Francisco. Anyway I highly recommend you go to their web site and download the MP3 of their first "single/release" Hunted and give it a listen. Then sign up for their mailing list. Together Ken Andrews, Jeff Garber, Tim Dow, and Solomon Snyder make up one hell of a band.

8-11-2002: Well we are finally in the midst of upgrading the web site. It will probably be several months before everything is done and all the pages are up and running. If the sounds on the pages don't load go to Macromedia and download their latest Flash Player.

At last there is some news to tell everyone. Work is well underway on Pleasant Valley Aerospace's first CD. We already have about eight songs in various stages of completion and several more on the way. This album is turning into a bit of a departure from what Chris and I did together in Sinewave and Tye Fighter. This stuff in many ways feels to me like what I've always been wanting to do. We even have a title for the CD but we are not going to spill the beans about what that is just yet. Anyway I'm shooting for around October for a release date because that will hopefully give us enough time to get everything done. When the CD is closer to completion PVA will get their own website and what not so look for that in the future. Also the wierd music that has been showing up on the Sinewavemusic site is snippits of PVA material and stuff I've been recording for the future PVA website.

As you may or may not know the Sinewavemusic production facility closed it's doors in the summer of 2001. The stock holders of PVTI felt it was time to rethink and restructure some of the companies more esoteric corporate branches. After a series of shareholder meetings it was decided that Sinewavemusic would be closed. So instead of letting trade secrets possibly leak out, PVTI had much of the experiments conducted at the Sinewavemusic production facility destroyed. Now two of the companies most devoted employees have come together to form Pleasant Valley Aerospace. Chris Amato and Jamie Jenness hope to accomplish what they could not when working for the Sinewavemusic production facility.

3-02-2002: Network Failure. . .

Well the website was missing from the net over the last couple of days because my Servers Network went down. Anyway this has slowed the update process just a little.

2-25-2002: Cleaning the Attic. . .

This is a list of what has been going on in the last few weeks.

1. Dave and Jamie's project is slowly nearing completion. The four songs on the CD are titled: Mirror, Far, Prozac, and Limitless. The mixing process is taking longer than planned but it's turning out much better than they expected.

2. Pleasant Valley Aerospace is slowly getting underway with the recording and demoing of several songs. No word on when the as yet unnamed album will be finished. Expect it to be very different than anything Sinewave did.

3. EMS is gearing up to begin work on new sinewavemusic.com pages for both these projects.

I guess its time that we return to our previous plan of escaping the planet. Soon, many will explore the furthest reaches of space. I can believe in that. We will be offering the public a solution to their monotony; transportation, if you will, to civilizations one only prays to see in the restlessness of excitement. Like a freshly brewed cup of joe, steaming through the glorious light-spreckled morning of the flowering Apocalypse, we will be the treasured sign of familiarity that awakens the spirit to all that is righteous.

Transmission: Number 1

Message Received: 28-01-2002 via Unixtex 12

Jamie Jenness and Chris Amato have continued to work together even after the closing of the Sinewavemusic production facility. They will be creating a music CD of unparalleled inspiration and depth. They doubt that the mass market will understand but, they do not care. They no doubt will keep us sporadically informed of their progress through these transmissions.

12-17-2001: Sinewave may be over but that won't stop us from telling you to go out and listen to our music. So follow this link below to Garageband.com and listen to a couple of our songs.
11-30-2001: If you didn't know, George Harrison died yesterday (Nov 29th 2001) after a long battle with cancer. The only thing I can say is "Thank You, George for the reason and music you have given my life."

8-01-2001: Sinewave Breaks up.

Read all about it here.

6-04-2001: Well the bands new demo is nearing completion and will be up on the website in about 2 weeks. It's just two songs and only one of the tracks has been named yet. Check back soon for audio samples!!

5-08-2001: First band news then website related news: The band is making it's first tentative steps towards recording and producing their first full length album. The band will also be recording some demo's that will possibly be put up on the site or at least hosted by one of our friends on the net.

Well due to some nasty computer viruses, angry new programs, and bad CD burner software EMS has "lost" it's new webpage. This is quite a disappointing situation considering how much work the Genesis team did on it. So basically they have returned to square one and will just revamp this the older site. Expect a new webpage much later this year (around November) to coincide with Sinewave's new recordings.

1-1-2001: Happy New Year!
12-25-2000: Have a Merry Christmas!  I'll be posting some band news in the next week or so!
12-04-2000:
11-23-2000: Happy Thanksgiving! Well we have Real Audio Samples of the CD up in the Sounds section so check them out.  Also check the Message Board for information about how to Download high quality MP3's of our music.  We are also contemplating putting up a Real Audio webcast of some of our new material sometime during December.  E-mail us if you'd be interested in listening to it.
11-19-2000: Check out the Message board for more information about what's going on with the band.  Also I've decided to spill the beans about the Merchandise section.  We actually have the CD up for sale on it.   We also have some cool shirts and other crap you might like to buy so check it out.
11-16-2000: Good news is here at last!  We have found a new drummer.  I'll be filling you all in about him over the next couple of weeks.   Anyway buy something from us in the Merchandise section.
11-10-2000: Just a few updates and more work on the Art Introduction.
11-7-2000: Well things are picking up rather quickly and it looks like good news is just over the horizon.  I'll post more about it on the Message Board in just a few days.  Also the Merchandise section is back up and running and the Art Intro is undergoing another of it's violent mutations.
11-3-2000: Updated the Intro page and work is being done in the Art Intro and other areas.
10-31-2000:  Happy Halloween!   Check out the OUTSIDE.
9-26-2000: Just a few more updates and the "new" message board is up and running.
9-8-2000: Well another month has passed and the band is slowly making progress.  Other than the fact that there is new music and the Santa Cruz mountains really kick ass there is nothing more to report.  Oh yeah, Jamie says "Buy the New Radiohead Album Kid A on October 3rd."
8-12-2000:  It seems like the months just keep flying by!  With the move to Santa Cruz and new schedules I've hardly had the time to work on the page.  One good thing is that I have finished the new Art Introduction pages after several months of brain storming.  This new wave of weirdness hopefully will keep everyone delighted for hours.  I've hidden links and other silly stuff in pictures and sometimes in the margins.  As always the Art Introduction is a work in progress so it will change according to my whims.  Anyway enough about the webpage and on to the band news.  Practices are going good and are yielding some completely different stuff than we have done before.  We are moving in new directions.   Also our search for a new drummer continues but we have had several promising leads.   I've also decided to change the nature of the Message Board due to the overwhelming lack of response to it.  It will become more like a log of current band events that don't quite fit on the main page.  As always I implore anyone (and I mean anyone) who happens by these pages to please e-mail me at sinewavemusic@hotmail.com because I'm always curious about what the rest of the world thinks about us.
7-14-2000:  Well there is nothing new to report just yet.  I've been cleaning the page up and getting things ready for later.
6-21-2000:  Well this is it.  We are officially announcing the end of SineWave's strange career in the Modesto music scene.  This is because both Brian and Chris have moved to Santa Cruz.  In the next few months Jamie, Brian, and Chris will be focusing on playing shows in the Bay Area. Along with the major change in venue we have had to say goodbye to Dave Armstrong as he continues to focus on Post Garbo. Once again we'd like to thank all of our friends and family who have supported us in our endeavor to make music in this hellish environment.
5-30-2000:  Well the webpage is finished and other than some tweaking here and there everything should work.  Any way we may have a show coming up this weekend.   I'll post more info as soon as I get the details.  Also check out Jamie's current rant on his page in the band members section.
5-15-2000:  The Band Biography page is up and running.
5-14-2000:  Well the webpage has remained a bloody mess for the last couple of months and I'd just like to apologize for that.  Anyway we have all been working on different projects (like relocating) and I haven't had the time to work on the page at all.  I hope to get some new stuff up and going soon (no promises!) and it should be interesting.  If you'd like to see some strange stuff check out Jamie's page in the Band Members section!
3-6-2000:  We are in the midst of renovating the web page so please excuse the mess.  There will be a couple of dead links and such for the next few days so bear with us.
3-3-2000:  We have got a whole bunch of new pictures up in the images section so check 'em out.  Also the web page will be changing and evolving over the course of the next few weeks.  We'll be expanding the art introduction to so check it out and see what our twisted minds are working on now!   Also please e-mail us and tell us what you think of the MP3's.  We can be reached at sinewavemusic@hotmail.com
2-27-2000:  We will be adding new pictures and March's MP3 of the month next week.
2-16-2000:  If you'd like to please sign the Guestbook!
2-7-2000:  We have just added the MP3 song sample of the month in the Audio section.  If you'd like to hear this months MP3 sample Triumvirate click here.   These MP3 files are huge so expect a long wait.
2-6-2000:  We'd just like to thank all the people who have been coming to our shows and visiting the web-site.  Thanks for all your support!
1-31-2000:  If you would like to hear Real Audio samples of our new CD click this link.  As of right now we are still accepting "pre-orders" so e-mail me if you want one.
1-1-2000: Happy New Year!
2-25-1999: Merry Christmas!
12-22-1999: In the month since our last update we have finally gotten the CD finished.  Our EP titled "The SineWave EP" will be ready for sale around the first of January.  If you want to pre-order a copy please send e-mail to sinewavemusic@hotmail.com.

11-22-1999:  The CD will be finished on Wednesday and we hope to have copies ready for sale by no later than December 10th.  We would also like to thank Post Garbo for the link to our webpage from theirs.  Also we have added a link to www.thehungersite.com.   This is a free site that will donate 2 1/4 cups of rice or any other staple food to hungry and needy people when you click a button.
11-07-1999:  The web page has been updated and the No Frames portion has been taken down.  The band is in the process of mixing the CD down at this time.
10-31-1999: Happy Halloween!   The CD should be finished by mid-November.  We have been putting on the keyboard tracks and the last of the vocal over dubs.  Mix down should commence in the next week.
10-22-1999: Brian has just finished the Bass tracks on Thursday.  Chris and Jaymie will be in the studio on Saturday recording the lead guitar and backing vocals.  It looks like the final mix down will be completed around October 30th.
10-17-1999:  We have just finished recording the rhythm guitar, drum, and vocal tracks.  Brian and Chris will be in the studio next week finishing their parts.  We should have the final mix down completed in about two weeks.  The track list is: They're Buying, BLI, Triumvirate, No time for Tomorrow, and Rain.  Also check out the new T-Shirt designs we have for sale in the Merchandise section and  the new pictures in the Images section.
10-10-1999:   We are in the studio recording our first CD tentatively titled "The SineWave EP".   The Merchandise section is up and running.  Also we have just put up a whole bunch of new pictures in the Images section.   We'd also like to thank Craig for taking the new pics.
10-01-1999:  We will be taking the next month off to begin work on our first CD.
