Yes, its an old picture, but the only one in existence with both of us in it!

Who are we? George Balazs heads up the National Marine Fisheries Services' Marine Turtle Research Program in Honolulu, Hawaii. He's been studying and helping conserve sea turtles in the Pacific region for over 35 years, and has been collecting sea turtle stamps for nearly as long.

Nancy Linsley has been a Flight Attendant with United Airlines for nearly 40 years. She enjoys doing volunteer work with sea turtles, and got hooked on collecting sea turtle stamps after finding her first one in México while helping on a project there.

Nancy Linsley and Dr. Frank Wisskirchen, taken in 2002 in Frankfurt, Germany. Nancy hates this picture because she had been up for nearly 30 hours when it was taken!

Dr. Wisskirchen is the author of "Die Zähne der Schildkröten", a German-language catalog of all known turtle stamps with more than 1,500 full color illustrations. The catalog uses Michel numbers but has a table for looking up the corresponding Scott numbers.
