| Here's the latest on my bike tank project....1/22/06
This scheme uses a black basecoat with a blue pearl design. After the black was applied and cleared, I created the blue "aroura" by dripping blue pearl paint over the black. I then covered the wet blue pearl paint with plastic wrap, and shifted the plastic wrap around to even out the coverage of the blue, then lifted the plastic wrap off creating the desing. After a day of drying time, I rubbed out the blue pearl on the back half of the tank creating the fade from blue to black......Next......mastering the scroll brush.......Coming soon.. |

| Here's One of my more recent attempts at freehand flames.......I have since made several attempts at masked flames including solid silver, "ghost" silver flames, and metallic silver....but they just don't have the same appeal to me (I'm still considering using freehand flames similar to what you see here) | ||||

| My initial design. I created this image by first sketching the eagle on paper to refine, then used a scanner to digitize, then painted with image editing software (staying between the lines of course!) | ||||

| Although I have painted the tank black...I have not painted the graphic on it yet. I simply pasted the image (above) on a picture of my tank (below!) | ||||
