Airbrush Art

This Bo Staff, A martial Arts weapon made of wood, approximately 1" diameter at the mid-point, less than 1/2" at the ends and 5' long, was a project for a friend at the Tae Kwondo fitness center that Kerrie and I used to frequent. The base color was originally a metal flake silver (still seen at the midpoint behind the fox and the symbol).
The owner requested black, blue and green as the overall color scheme, with blue flames, a symbol which was the combined letters of the owners initials, and originally, a leopard. A friend of the owners had already painted the symbol and a leopard using nail polish. I suggested that I remove both to add more detail and dimension. After a couple weeks worth of discussing design and color, we decided on an image of a fox, and later, the amethist stone along with the detials shown in these photos.
