This Carousel Rabbit was for my Wife's Aunt for Christmas 2003. After deciding on the subject, I set out on finding the perfect image to use for the painting. The images I found on the internet didn't provide me with the amount of detail I usually need to create a "photo-realistic" painting that I usually strive to achieve. After preparing several images for the painting, I came to the conclusion that the images I wa using weren't quite good enough. I took a trip to the local Borders book store, and found the perfect Rabbit.... |
