80% of our cover songs I download from the internet and modify to suit our needs (delete the bass, melody, guitar and anything else that may muddy the performance. From there, I may change instruments used from a generic midi instruments to one of the many instruments supplied with our musical quality sound card (many use sampled sounds from the actual instruments) and this justifies the extra couple hundered dollars for a sound card!!! The remaining 20% of the songs we do are just not available on the internet, so I sequence them myself......drums, keyboards, horns, whatever the song requires for us to pull it off. this could take anywhere from 3 hours to 10 or 12, depending on the complexity........
