Looking For That Perfect Gift?

We are going into the most stressful time of the year on the heels of the most stressful time of our lives as Americans. Many people are suffering from stress, fears and anxieties resulting from the terrorist attacks, continuing war, anthrax, and other bio-terrorism threats. This is coupled with the usual high levels of tension and frustration surrounding the holiday season.

I would like to remind all of you who have experienced for yourselves how valuable self-hypnosis is for stress relief to use this skill every day, and encourage your friends and family to learn and use this unparalleled tool as well. The more we can keep our collective calm, the better our nation will weather this storm overall. The more we individually attend to our own stress relief, the more internal resources will be available to us to meet the challenges of the current situation.

We have never had a better incentive for proactively addressing our stress needs, and working on maintaining a level of well-being which will enable us to support our body’s immunity and defense mechanisms against all the onslaughts we are likely to encounter, from the person coughing in our face at the mall, to more serious threats. Many of you have one or more of the support tapes—use them! Practice with and without the tapes, using your anchor experience to pull you back into that still, quiet place within. Look for other stress-busting tips elsewhere in the newsletter.
